Paddlesport Safety and Rescue Course

One day course with a Paddle UK provider to teach you all the strategies and skills you need to be safe and solve common issues out on the water. You will learn about what equipment you should have with you in the environments that you paddle in, how to empty different crafts and assist paddlers back in to them from the water. 

The course covers six modules: 
•    Clothing and Equipment
•    Safety frameworks
•    Contact and Towing rescues
•    Self-rescues
•    Deep water rescues
•    Reflection and development

Please note that if the weather conditions are not suitable for the course it will need to be postponed. 

Prerequisites 
You need to hold the Paddle UK explore award or be paddling to the equivalent level. If you have any concerns regarding this, get in touch and talk it over with us.
