Are you looking for a tired, dirty, happy child?

If so, our Wild Days could be just what you're looking for! Whilst they are not quite old enough to head out on the river, these days are a full day outside filled with adventure. We tailor the program each day dependent on who is booked on and the weather, but days include activities such as: Bushcraft, Fire-lighting, Shelter-building, Water Orbs, Aeroball, Mini-Beast Hunting, Found art, and so much more. 

These days are for all those aged 5 - 8 (they must be able to use the toilet unaided) and are recommended for those in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2. If your child is 4, but you feel they could handle a full day and they are able to use the toilet unaided then please contact us to book. Similarly, at 8 (currently in Year 3 or above) they are able to attend our main Holiday Activity Days (we have older groups for 8-12, and 12-16), but if you feel they are not quite ready for that yet then you are welcome to book them on with the younger group instead. The main age booked onto these days tends to be 5-6 years old. Please note that for the Wild Days there is just one group, so everyone booked on to this course will be in a group together.

For a daily cost of £50/£55(Summer 2024) we provide all the equipment needed - you just need to supply the child! Whilst we provide lunch we have found that younger children like to have snacks, so if you would like to send snacks along with your child this is encouraged but please note they must be nut free.

If you would like to book using childcare vouchers, please email reception@longridge.org.uk as sadly the voucher system is too complicated for our website to handle! Please do not book online as we will not be able to refund and swap to childcare vouchers. Please note that there is a £5 admin charge for childcare voucher bookings.

These days are held at Longridge, Quarry Wood Road, Marlow, SL7 1RE. We also run days for 8-12 year olds, and 12-16 year olds.
